Selina Rodrigues is a writer of poetry and short stories. She has two publications.

The Visitors was published by Wild Pressed Books in February 2021.

Selina is an experienced reader and poetry residence facilitator. Selina was three times selected as poet in residence for the Poetry School Open Gardens and through this devised collaborative community poems, resonating with the London Bridge attack, the secrets and power of public parks and social history. 

She has read widely, including at European Poetry Festival, Torriano Meeting House and Shuffle at London’s Poetry Cafe. Selina’s poetry is published in Filigree (Peepal Tree) Under the Radar (Nine Arches Press), Butcher’s Dog, Rialto, Magma, Mslexia.

Of Indian dual heritage, Selina grew up on a council estate, complete with motorbikes, chilies and plum trees. She has lived at 3 points of a triangle in England.

Selina believes that creativity exists in all people and places.
